Bible Quiz is a ministry of the Assemblies of God Youth Department.
The Bible Quiz Ministry is similar to quick-recall academic games, or
the television show Jeopardy. Two teams of three quizzers each face
a series of twenty questions with varying difficulty. The first quizzer to
buzz in and answer the question correctly gains points for their team.
The primary goal of Bible Quiz is the study and memorization of
God's Word. The competitive play of quizzing requires just as much
skill and strategy as any other sport. Quizzers develop concentration,
confidence, perseverance, and self-discipline. They learn how to work
together and encourage others as a team. These are skills that help
them do well in school, and in their future careers and ministries.

Junior Bible Quiz (JBQ) is for children in grades 3 – 6.
They study questions and answers about Bible Stories and the teachings of the Bible.

Teen Bible Quiz is divided into the A League (grades 7 – 12) and the Novice League (grades 6 – 9).
Teen quizzers memorize a different book or books of the Bible each year and then answer
   questions on it.
Novice league quizzers memorize a smaller portion of the Bible than the A League.

Adult Quiz! Adults memorize about 100 verses of whatever book the teens are studying each year.    Adult Quizzing serves as a fund raiser for college scholarships, and as an incentive for adults to    memorize large portions of God's Word along with the teens.

Bible Quiz provides many scholarships to top quizzers. The goal for 2007 is to raise $ 1 million for scholarships! Many Assembly of God colleges provide scholarship assistance to quizzers; up to full 4 year scholarships for national level quizzers! Quizzing is also rewarded with scholarships from many other Christian colleges.
